Madrid se convierte en la capital de la innovación y el emprendimiento global con la 14ª edición de South Summit.

South Summin Madrid 2025,el encuentro líder del ecosistema global de la innovación y el emprendimiento coorganizado por IE University, celebrará su 14ª edición del 4 al 6 de junio en La Nave. Bajo el lema ‘In Motion’, esta nueva edición de South Summit se centrará en el crecimiento sostenible, el impacto social de la tecnología y los avances más disruptivos de la innovación. El encuentro reunirá a más de 400 ponentes —el 60% de origen internacional—, alrededor de 140 inversores —de los cuales un 68% llegarán desde fuera de España— y 19 fundadores de unicornios procedentes de distintas partes del mundo.

El primer día de #SouthSummit25 contará con la participación destacada de Greg Hoffman, ex CMO de Nike y principal impulsor de la evolución global de la marca. Hoffman debatirá sobre cómo la creatividad puede impulsar el crecimiento empresarial y la fidelidad de los clientes, todo ello basado en su trayectoria de casi tres décadas en una de las marcas más icónicas del mundo.

Esta jornada inaugural también contará con la presencia de Pedro Duque, presidente de Hispasat, ex ministro de Ciencia e Innovación y astronauta español. Junto a Duque, también participarán otros nombres reconocidos del ecosistema innovador internacional como: Dennis Hong, profesor de la UCLA y referente mundial en robótica, quien analizará cómo la IA generativa mejora las capacidades robóticas; Dan Wagner, CEO de Rezolve, quien abordará cómo la IA está transformando el comercio y la interacción con los consumidores, o Adriana Pereira, cofundadora de The Fabricant, que explorará la intersección entre moda digital y tecnología.

Durante la celebración de South Summit Madrid 2025 también se organizarán tres espacios clave para el crecimiento y la conexión mutua entre diversos actores del ecosistema emprendedor: Growth Camp, LP Forum y Founders X Founders. El primero ofrecerá tres jornadas de contenido intensivo centrado en el ciclo completo del fundador en fase de expansión; el segundo reunirá a los principales Limited Partners internacionales para compartir estrategias de inversión en un entorno exclusivo, y el tercero será un foro exclusivo de alto valor, donde los fundadores de scaleups con proyección de unicornio podrán intercambiar experiencias, generar aprendizaje mutuo y establecer vínculos.

Otra de las grandes citas de #SouthSummit25 tendrá lugar el jueves 5 con la charla entre Marc Randolph, cofundador de Netflix, y Diego del Alcázar Benjumea, CEO de IE University. Una interesante conversación que girará en torno al recorrido de la plataforma de streaming, desde sus modestos inicios hasta convertirse en el gigante del entretenimiento que es hoy.

South Summit Madrid 2025 continuará hasta el viernes 6 de junio, con la participación de figuras claves de la innovación en todo el planeta como: Ed Soo, CTO de Lenovo, quien hablará con Nacho Mateo, CEO de South Summit, sobre el papel del liderazgo en tiempos de incertidumbre, o el ex primer ministro italiano Enrico Letta. Tras sus intervenciones se darán a conocer los ganadores de la Startup Competition, una de las grandes señas de identidad de South Summit y que este año remarca su globalidad con 100 startups finalistas procedentes de 22 países.

Mateo Salvatto, joven fundador de Asteroid Technologies; Paul Murphy, socio de Lightspeed Venture Partners y experto en inversión en IA, o Marci Zaroff, pionera en sostenibilidad en la industria de la moda, son otros grandes nombres propios del emprendimiento global que se darán cita en esta edición.

Durante el encuentro se celebrará también la entrega de premios por verticales de la Startup Competition y la elección de la startup ganadora global, además de la South Summit Kids Competition, organizada junto a Genyus School para incentivar el emprendimiento infantil y poner en valor el talento innovador de proyectos desarrollados por niños y centros educativos de toda España.
